CAD Modeling

Waltonen has been providing CAD designs since the inception of digital technology. With over 300 computer workstations, Waltonen provides 3D CAD design for product, tooling, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, which is all part of the digital twin

Modeling and Simulation (M&S)

By applying M&S to the product development, design validation can be achieved virtually. From Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Variation Simulation Analysis (VSA) or heat transfer studies, Waltonen provides complete M&S services.

Using multiple softwares for FEA, Waltonen provides linear and non linear M&S for vehicle suspensions, including tracked and wheeled vehicles, structural fatigue, blast simulation, powertrain gasket analysis and material pitting. Applying this technology to the digital thread allows designs to be validated prior to any physical testing.

Manufacturing Optimization

An important element of the digital twin is manufacturing and assembly. Digital engineering allows us to design the most robust process, plan automation, perform throughput analysis, program robots, enhance ergonomics, and optimize your plant floor all virtually before a single tool is built or pillar placed in the ground.
